Shifter Rebuild Kits

This kit is to rebuild the shifter assembly that is in the center console. Includes oilite bushings to replace the original plastic bushings, a new select shaft and brass round piece that replaces the round ball and several shims. This will make your Getrag shifter assembly like new or even better than new. These kits are easy to install but it will require you to remove the shifter assembly from the car. 	This is a Getrag shifter assembly. The main difference between the Isuzu and the Getrag is the center pivot area. You will notice on this Getrag shifter assembly that the cross bolt is encased in a tube. The Isuzu shifter has no tube and you can see the pivot bolt.

Note: I do not have a rebuild kit for the four speed shifters at this time. The four speed shifters are very durable and long lasting. I have not seen any four speed shifters with enough wear to consider making a rebuild kit for them at this time.

Please read before ordering:
In some cases a previous owner may have changed the shifter assembly in your Fiero. I have seen some where it appears they came from the factory with the incorrect shifter. You can not just assume that you have a Getrag shifter if you have a V-6 5 speed or an Isuzu shifter if you have a L4 and a 5 speed. In 99% of the cars I have sold these for the shifter matches the transmission. To be sure you are ordering the correct kit please take a minute and pull the console top off and look and compare it to the picture above. The Getrag shifter is in the picture above. The kits are different and will not interchange.
