(1986 GT shown in picture) 1988 Fiero Coupe, Formula and GT: This model is a direct bolt in and can be installed in about 10 minutes. No drilling necessary. Bolts and washers are stainless steel. 308 kit, 328 kit, 87/88Mera: Easy to install in your 308 kit, 328 kit or 87/88 Mera. Removal of the original factory springs is required. This is available in a dual kit only. Includes strengthening bars from the shock tower to the hinges. |
Dual Strut Kits: For a Balanced Look
These kits are the
same as the above kits but two struts are required and are
mounted one on each side. They also require the use of a much
higher pressure strut because of the removal of the factory
springs. On the 1984-1987 kits, an extra bolt needs to be added
and an extra hole needs to be drilled and tapped into the shock
tower under the louver bracket for added strength. (1988 GT shown
below with Dual Struts)

Note: When ordering please include a brief description on
why you need a lift kit. I use varying pressures depending on the
application.
For those who have done an engine change - In most cases there is generally not enough room on
the passenger side for a gas strut. Most non stock engines have something in the way. In those
cases you will only be able to use a singe on the driver's side. A single gas strut works just fine
even if you have removed both springs. For this type of application I use a high pressure strut.
