Clutch Arm Bushing Tool
This tool is great for several reasons. If
you are replacing a clutch, the top bushing should be driven into
the case area and the clutch arm removed and checked for rust.
Rust will limit the movement of the arm and may greatly decrease
the life of the throw out bearing and even the clutch. With the
arm removed, the shaft can be sanded clean and smooth and
regreased. A new top seal will need to be installed.
If you are replacing the clutch release arm the top bushing needs
to be driven into the case to remove the arm. This tool is then
also used to reinstall the top bushing from the outside for
reassembly.
There are 2 variations of this tool. One fits only the
Getrag 5 speed, and the other fits both the Isuzu 5 speeds and the 4 speed Fiero
transmissions.
NOTE:If you have the 1988 4 cylinder Isuzu trans you need to order the Getrag tool.
Please specify your transmission type when ordering.
