V-6 Alternator Reinforcement Plate

The aluminum alternator bracket on the 1985-1988 2.8 V-6 Fiero is very failure prone in the thin area in the adjustment slot. This is a 1/8" thick laser cut steel plate with welded on steel sides to hold it in place and provide a substantial amount of strength to the stock aluminum bracket in the thin slotted area. Easy to install. Just remove the factory bolt and slip it in place. Reinstall the factory bolt and retighten and you are done.

A must have for all V-6 Fieros! Installing this will help prevent your aluminum alternator bracket from breaking/failing.

The aluminum bracket generally likes to break at the very top. This may rescue a broken bracket if it is still fairly intact.
