GM FWD Shifter Rebuild Kit

In the past many FWD GM car owners have ordered and installed my Getrag shifter rebuild kit even though it was not designed for their FWD Getrag shifter. I was able to find a FWD GM Getrag shifter (this shifter may have been used for other manual transmissions as well). I have designed and now have in stock a rebuild kit for these GM FWD shifter assemblies. If your shifter looks like the one in the picture this rebuild kit should fit. I am looking for other variations of FWD shifter assemblies. If you know of any and would be able to send me one for R&D I would be willing to make a rebuild kit to fit it.

This shifter was used in cars like the Chevy Beretta, Chevy Corsica, Pontiac Grand Prix etc.

Kit consists of 2 precision machined oilite bushings, four shims and the round cylinder to replace the ball on the select arm. You will be removing the OEM factory plastic bushings and replacing them with the precision oilite bushings. Shim as needed to remove any looseness in the pivot area. Replace the OEM steel ball with the round cylinder in the select lever and you will have a shifter that is tighter than when it was new!

My Getrag Select Arm Rebuild Kit will fit FWD Getrags if you drill a new hole in the end.
